Podcast Movie Special: Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country

Since Joey went out of town for a long vacation, he took some time off this week and prepared our podcast for Trek West 5 Movie Special - Star Trek 6. "Once again I find myself surprised at how divisive the Trek movies can be - Pete and I always seem to find plenty to argue about when we do these Movie Specials. We hope you enjoy the insights we discovered in the course of watching this final movie of the "Original Crew" (not counting Capt. Pike's crew, of course), and we will return to our regularly scheduled programming in the coming weeks." - Joey Smith

"let slip the dogs of war" line WAS used out of context by Chang but to be fair all of the Shakespeare quotes in the movie are fairly well known in pop culture. Yes I think the writers of 'Undiscovered Country' were making this movie for general audiences (like Listner Jim's wife and my friend Sean who doesn't give a crap about Trek) so they were putting in dialog by The Bard that everyone who watches film would get it, not just crossover geeks of both Shakespeare's work and Roddenberry's universe.

P.S. I agree fugly Kim Catrell was way out of her league with the rest of the 'Undiscovered Country' cast
